The problem

Essilor wanted a globally-efficient organisation to manage their pre-press, translation and print management across Europe for two product launches. The aim was to save time and money without compromising quality or delivery – and to provide full transparency on costs.


Two brochures and four leaflets were required in up to 24 different languages.

The solution

RedWorks’ European network was chosen as the most effective way to produce numerous language adaptations to a high quality and within a tight time frame.


We provided Essilor with a web tool enabling efficient versioning and project coordination. Cost savings were between 7 to 15% and timesavings on project management for Essilor’s local teams were between 20 to 30%.


A central coordinator in Paris dispatched people to each of the local RedWorks production hubs.


With no mark-up and revenue fees based on staff cost and time, our print buying was totally transparent. This helped to create a brilliantly friendly climate between teams and total involvement of the Project Manager.
